
Born in 1983, Egypt-based music producer Rafeek Gamal began the pursuit of his passion for music early as he learned to play Accordion, Piano, and Violin.
Hungry for more, in 2001 he started to work as a professional music producer at Compu-Sound Studio with a team of talented producers, and later in 2010 he decided to start his own studio.
Passing by his unique oriental sound, jazz, pop, and fusion his musical scope ranges from orchestral pieces to the modern sound of the day.
Enamored with the field, Rafeek decided to add more live music to his life and use his knowledge of composing and musical arrangements in parallel, by joining musical theater. He wrote many operas which performed live, recorded as original tracks, and even shot. His musical arrangements boom which later aired on national TV.
In 2006, Rafeek started to compose and arrange scores for Egyptian award-winning films (Awakher El Seif 2014 – Al Manfa 2016….), Tv shows, and ads for widely acclaimed brand names such as Pepsi.
Then later in 2012, another aspect was discovered to be successful as well under Rafeek’s creative umbrella, working with maestro (Nayer Nagi) and the famous Egyptian band (Cairo steps) established by (Bassem Darwish) in 2018, this experience increased his inspiration and gave him the opportunity to collaborate with orchestra Munich, Germany (Quadro Nevu band) and (Sony music) which broadening his studies in this field.
